Today, we’re excited to announce our partnership with WordProof to bring timestamped search results to Presearch. As the first search engine in the world to integrate WordProof’s universal blockchain-based timestamping system, Presearch will soon be able to show you when information was last edited or updated. We believe this will go a long way toward improving trust and transparency on the web.
We’re excited to announce that the new Presearch dark mode is now online and ready for use!
Dark mode has been one of the most requested improvements to the Presearch platform, and it’s been at the top of the team’s list as well.
With more and more time spent online, the need to protect our vision and access content in a way that is easy on the eyes is really important.
This new version of Presearch enables you to turn the light emitted by your screen way down and invert the colors so that the background is dark and the…
Our next major milestone is here, the launch of Presearch node rewards!
We know many of you have been waiting patiently, and we are thrilled to announce that the time has come. On March 1, node rewards for node operators will officially launch!
We are rolling out the rewards in two phases:
Many early node operators have been running Presearch nodes for months just to support the project and without the promise of…
It’s been quite a week! While the overall cryptocurrency markets were quite volatile, our team has been rock steady working hard to achieve our next release milestone!
We are excited to announce the launch of Presearch Node Statistics!
The node dashboard now provides our Presearch node operators with detailed insights into how their nodes are performing, including information about number of connections, uptime, latency, and search success rates. Each node also receives a rating from 1 to 100 showing how it compares on each of these measures versus all other nodes on the network, which is incorporated into…
Presearch is excited to announce that, as per our roadmap, the project will transition to version 1.0 of our new Tokenomics Engine on Monday, February 22nd.
This marks the beginning of a new phase where search rewards are no longer pegged at a fixed rate of 0.25 PRE per search, and will be variable-rate, based on system-wide inputs such as number of searches, advertising revenue, node operator rewards and other factors.
Starting Monday, reward rates will now be automatically adjusted each day to balance the overall tokenomics of the Presearch platform on an ongoing basis.
The second weekly update is here (Feb. 12, 2021)!
We’d love your feedback on what topics you’d like to see addressed in our weekly updates. Let us know in the comments / on our social channels, so that we can continue to share exciting updates!
This week, Presearch Founder & CEO Colin Pape addresses various important updates regarding:

Have a great week!
Presearch PRE tokens are built on top of something called the Ethereum blockchain, which enables PRE to be distributed to individual wallets, and bought and sold through external marketplaces.
Due to a massive spike in the fees associated with processing a withdrawal transaction, it has become temporarily uneconomical to distribute reward tokens and small purchases.
The current transaction fees are ranging from $15-$30 per transfer, up from under $2 a transfer just a couple of months ago.
We have increased that threshold to $5 for reward tokens and $20 for purchased tokens, as our past limits would certainly not work…
We are excited to announce that the new Presearch node-powered, decentralized search engine is now live!
You can access directly it via https://engine.presearch.org.
We are slowly rolling the platform out to all users and transitioning people from Dsearch to Presearch Engine as the default engine over the course of the next two weeks, so if you do not have it set as your default yet, please bear with us.
Or, if you’d like to manually set the Presearch Engine as your default, you can do so under your search providers section, here: https://www.presearch.org/account/homepage-providers
On that screen, search for ‘Presearch Engine’…
Mark the date on your calendar, because that’s when the new Presearch decentralized search engine powered by user nodes goes live to the public!
We are blown away with the positive feedback from beta testers so far, and know that this is going to be a huge step forward for the project!
Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to launch, and if you’re interested in helping us beta test, please fill out the form found here:

Team Presearch 🚀🚀🚀
We are happy to announce that the initial free keyword staking traffic period has been extended until at least June 30th, 2021!
With more than 65 million PRE staked, the initial usage of the keyword staking platform has exceeded our expectations, and the thousands of users who’ve been beta testing have provided us with lots of great feedback and ways to improve the platform.
Now that we are preparing to release the new Presearch decentralized search engine on January 28th, it makes sense to continue to extend the initial one-year free traffic offer that we made in January 2020 when…
